Day I: Kutaisi arrival –transfer to the hotel.

Day I: Transfer from Airport to the hotel.
Day II: In certain historical periods Kutaisi was the second capital of Georgia after Tbilisi according to largeness.Drive to Bagrati Cathedral – (11th c). It is an old architectural monument of Kutaisi. Nowadays only ruins are left from the church. One of the UNESCO heritage sites. Then Motsameta Monastery Complex (8th-11th cc) is beautifully situated between the valleys of two rivers near Kutaisi. In the 8th century, brothers David and Konstantine Mkheidzes, the Lords of the region, were assassinated here by Arabs, for refusing to convert to Islam. The old church was destroyed. A present monastery complex was built on the site of the old church by King Bagrat in 11th century. "Motsameta" monastery means "monastery of martyrs". The sacred remains of the brothers are kept in the Crypt of the church.
Day III: After breakfast drive to Tskaltubo - a spa resort in west-central Georgia. It is the main town of the Tsqaltubo Municipality of the Imereti province. It is known for its radon-carbonate mineral springs, whose natural temperature of 33–35 °C enables the water to be used without preliminary heating. Okatse Canyon is one of the most picturesque sights in the Kutaisi area. The canyon gets its name from the river Okatse. It is made of limestone rocks and is 3km long and about 50m deep. The highlight of the canyon is a narrow suspension bridge/walkway about 1km long, which ends at a viewing platform that offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding nature. Martvili Canyon is 2,400 metres (1.5 mi) long, 5 to 7 metres (16 to 23 ft) wide and 50 to 70 metres (160 to 230 ft) deep. In the center of the canyon, waterfalls with 12 to 15 metres (39 to 49 ft) high drops exist.
Day IV: After breakfast drive to Kolkheti National Park - the first natural site in Georgia, is nominated on theUNESCO World Heritage List, for its Colchic forests and wetland. The Kolkheti Lowlands received international attention for the first time in 1996 when Georgia joined the Ramsar Convention – an intergovernmental treaty on wetlands of international importance, especially those that serve as habitats for waterfowl. Park is in the emerald network as well, which is ecological cooperation, created in order to make up special conservation interest. You will be astonished how many birds are migrating here, especially in late spring and early autumn. Wetlands are an important resting and staging area for thousands of water birds migration between Northern Eurasia and Africa.
