4 DAYS MAASAI BUDGET PRIVATE SAFARI BASED ON A LAND CRUISER JEEP
TRIP OVERVIEW
The Maasai Mara National Reserve (or the Mara as it is popularly known) boasts for sheltering various wild animals such as the lion, cheetah, gazelles, wildebeest, zebras and other animals that annually migrate to and from Tanzania to the Maasai Mara. It is Kenya’s most famous game park, it offers the possibility of seeing “the big five” and many other species of game. This is where the great wildebeest migration is a show to behold for any would-be visitor to Kenya mainly from July to October, each year.
DAY 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara
Pick up from your hotel/ airport depending on your arrival plan and at exactly 8am drive southwards along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with stop over at the viewpoint. Then proceed to Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Later proceed for evening game drive which is well known for its rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is also renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco camp with facilities of hot shower and toilet inside the tent
DAY 2: Maasai Mara Exclusive Game Viewing
After early breakfast with picnic lunch, you spend full day exploring this unique park which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. You have the chance to visit Mara River, the boarder of Masai Mara, and the famous Serengeti Park where there is a high concentration of many animals especially at the time you will be traveling. All meals and overnight at the camp.
DAY 3: ANOTHER FULL DAY EXTENSIVE SAFARI
You will rise up very early this morning and take off for a sunrise game drive and then return to your camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast, you will spend the entire day in the park with a packed lunch to enjoy along the way. The tour will take you in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their prey like the zebra and wildebeest, as well as the giraffe. You will visit the Mara River where you will spot hippos and dangerous crocodiles. Later in the evening, you will return for dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.
NOTE: An optional hot air balloon ride, at an extra cost, is available on this day.
DAY 4/ 22ND, JULY 2023 MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI
We will depart from our safari camp and take a morning game drive through the Maasai Mara Reserve on day 5. Then we'll return to the bustling Nairobi, arriving at about 2:00 pm in the afternoon. This unforgettable 5-day budget Maasai Mara camping safari ends upon arrival back in Nairobi.
